If you try to enroll into a course you might get the following error:

This error message means that Code Expert cannot recognise an affiliation with ETH in your Edu-ID profile. There may be two reasons for this:

A) you have not set the affiliation correctly (or you did no re-login after setting the affiliation)

B) you have two Edu-IDs and only the old one is linked, but not the new one you are now using.

Proceed as follows:

Please check as follows whether the affiliation is complete (both points must be fulfilled):

1. go to password.ethz.ch. The message "Linked with SWITCH edu-ID" should be displayed on the right (or at the bottom of narrow screens).
2. go to eduid.ch. Your current ETH enrolment should be displayed at the bottom under "Linked identities".

If both settings are set correctly as described above: Log out of the Edu-ID once and log in again to the Code Expert platform via the Code Expert enrolment link (you can also try it in another browser or in an incognito tab).

If the link is displayed for point 1, but not for point 2, then you have two different Edu-ID profiles (the old one is already linked to the ETH profile, but the newly created one is not).
